TikTok has just crossed the symbolic bar of 2 billion downloads. Available on the App Store or Google Play Store, the application has recorded 500 million additional downloads since November, according to information from Sensor Tower relayed by Cnet this Thursday. According to specialists, this meteoric rise is linked in particular to the containment measures taken in many countries.

Social video app @tiktok_us from @BytedanceTalk reached new levels of popularity, crossing 2 billion downloads after accumulating a record-breaking 315 million in Q1 2020. Details here: https://t.co/vj6s0xjUd8 #tiktok #socialmedia #mobilegrowth pic. twitter.com/qDcI1cnYur

India has the most users

TikTok is an application on which users can post videos up to 15 seconds long. It can be short humorous pastilles, dance steps or anything else. So, in this period of confinement, many use it to pass the time.

Currently, India has the most TikTok users. The country accounts for 30% of global downloads. Then come China and the United States.
