Yesterday (29th), those who barely escaped from the scene of the fire said that the flames and dark smoke quickly swallowed up the building, and even though it was daylight, there was nothing in front of them.

Reporter Jung Joon-ho heard the situation at the time.

Mr. A, who was finishing the freezer on the second basement level where the fire started at about 1:32 pm on fire, witnessed a flame around the door with a 'puck' sound.

It's been over 10 seconds.

[Mr. A / Survivor: It's completely sea. The red light ... I can't go out. At that moment, I come back again, and there is nothing in front of me as the dark smoke already flows like a dark cloud.] The

only thing I could rely on in a space filled with darkness and heat was my senses and memories.

[Mr. A / Survivor: I mean you know where the door is and where the dock is because it's a working space. They jumped out of there

without seeing anything.] Survivors say there was nothing else they could do other than to run randomly in a crowded situation.

[A subcontractor: I heard that the person who escaped was a tiler, and I escaped after running around with the thought of just living because I couldn't see the front. I came down because I wanted it, but there was already a fire on the first floor… .]

[Lee Yong-jae / Professor, Department of Fire Safety Management, Kyungmin University: You have to go up the stairs, but there is the most fire. The people inside were unable to evacuate, and as a result, there were many fatalities in the end.] There

was a fire in the daylight, but it was difficult to even distinguish one step ahead of the black toxic gas emitted constantly. Escaped, but 10 of the survivors suffered minor and minor injuries.
