It is a golden holiday that lasts for six days, from Buddha's Birthday to Workers' Day, weekend, and children's day tomorrow.

From the beginning of the golden holiday to the 6th of the following month, 1,670 aircraft travel between Gimpo and Jeju for a week.

On average, there are 238 flights a day, compared to the beginning of this month, about 100 more.

It is known that the reservation rate of major resorts in Jeju is over 90%, and car rentals that were once returned to license plates are also booked up to 70% of the average.

While the airport asked passengers to keep a certain distance, it said it was carrying out quarantine twice a day.

It is expected that a lot of crowds will be gathered not only in Jeju but also in mountainous and coastal tourist spots such as the east coast of Gangwon Province.

Highways are also expected to be very crowded, and the Korea Expressway Corporation forecasts that the average amount of highway traffic will increase by 8% over normal to 4.45 million.
