From the entrance of the university in 2022, which the current high school second grader will take next year, the proportion of all major universities in Seoul will increase to over 30%.

Many of the so-called 'top universities' preferred by students such as Korea University and Yonsei University increase their on-time ratios from around 20 ~ 30% to around 40%.

The University Admissions Committee of the Korea University Education Council announced today (29th) the main issues of the 2022 University Admissions Plan for 198 four-year universities nationwide.

For prospective candidates and parents, the regular and regular ratios of major universities in Seoul are a key concern.

Last year, when the suspicion of corruption in the entrance examination of children of the former Minister of Justice of the Fatherland was raised, the Ministry of Education announced that it would strengthen the fairness of admission, and said, "We will increase the on-time ratio of major universities in Seoul to 40% by 2023 and achieve this as early as possible in 2022."

16 universities including Konkuk University, Kyunghee University, Korea University, Kwangwoon University, Dongguk University, Sogang University, Seoul National University, Seoul City University, Seoul Women's University, Sungkyunkwan University, Sookmyung Women's University, Soongsil University, Yonsei University, Chung-Ang University, Hankuk University, and Hanyang University have been subject to expansion.

These are universities that were judged to have a 'unbalanced admission rate' by selecting more than 45% of the student's general admission (academic type) and essay.

Nine out of 16 confirmed 'over 40% on time' in 2022.

Konkuk University (40.0%), Korea University (40.1%), Dongguk University (40.0%), Sogang University (40.6%), Seoul City University (40.4%), Seoul Women's University (40.1%), Yonsei University (40.1%), Korea University (42.4%) · Hanyang University (40.1%).

Kyunghee University (37.0%), Kwangwoon University (35.0%), Seoul National University (30.1%), Sungkyunkwan University (39.4%), Sookmyung Women's University (33.4%), Soongsil University (37.0%), and Chungang University (30.7%) also increased the scheduled time All of them made the on-time ratio more than 30%.

The average of 16 on-time ratios will increase from 29.6% this year to 37.9% next year.

The average grade ratio decreases from 45.5% this year to 36.1% next year.

The total number of students enrolled in the four-year university in the 2022 school year is 34,553, which is 894 fewer than the 34,447 this year (the 2021 school year).

This is the effect of reducing the number of college recruitment due to the decrease in school age.

The ratio of regular recruitment centered on the type of school and regular entrance exams centered on the College Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) was 75.7% vs. 24.3% when looking at the entire 4-year university.

On-time percentage is 1.3 percentage points higher than this year (23.0%), and regular percentage is 1.3 percentage points lower than this year (77.0%).

The on-time rate of major universities is close to 40%, and the reason for the four-year total is only 24.3%, because the on-time rate of local universities is low.

On average, the average percentage of fixed-time students was 32.3% for metropolitan universities and 15.7% for local universities.

According to the selection number, the number of occasional recruitment is 26,378 and the number of regular recruitment is 8,175.

Compared to this year, the number of regular starters decreased by 4,996, and the number of scheduled starters was 4,102.

If you look at the number of selected students at any time, there are 797,503 types of students, and 14,506 students are enrolled in the sub-curricular admissions process.

From this year, the number of students selected for the school year decreased by 6,580, and the number of subjects for the subject selection increased by 1,582.

The number of people who are vulnerable to basic living recipients and the upper class is 3,000,546, which is 5,946 more than this year.

The Daekyohyup said that from 2022 onwards, all universities had to operate a uniform rotation type.

The number of 'local talent selection' to expand the opportunities for local talent college admissions is also expected to increase by 4,262 people this year to 2,783.

92 universities, six more than this year, have decided to implement.

The major issues of the entrance examination plan announced today are distributed to high schools and metropolitan and provincial offices of education.
