Prosecutors who investigated the allegations of so-called 'adherence of swordsmanship' continued to face confrontation with journalists for more than 10 hours as they searched for confiscation of Channel A headquarters.

Yesterday (28th), the Seoul Central District Attorney Detective Division 1 (Deputy Prosecutor Jeong Jin-woong) tried to execute the warrant by explaining the purpose and method of the seizure search to the head of the press headquarters at 9:30 am on the day.

However, dozens of reporters from their press bureaus gathered at the press headquarters and protested that they would stop the search for seizures, saying, "Invasion of freedom of speech and undermining the coverage of reporters."

Earlier, MBC reported that there was a suspicion that a reporter from Channel A complained to the former head of VIK, Lee Chul-min, about the criticism of the chairman of the late Roh Moo-hyun, related to the Shinragen case.

MBC's reporter, Ji, is not responding to the summons, saying, "I don't believe in the prosecution." It seems that the key issue of the investigation will be whether the channel A reporter and the prosecutor's dialogue recordings actually exist.
