flames are burning in the surrounding mountains.

The fire from Poongcheon-myeon, Andong, Gyeongbuk, evolved once around 12 o'clock yesterday at about 3:40 yesterday, and then survived again in 2 hours as the strong wind blew.

As the fire spread to the northeast by the wind, evacuation orders were issued to 7 to 800 residents of five villages, including Gohari and Danho 2-ri, Namhu-myeon, Andong-si.


In addition, as it spread across the Central Expressway, the road construction controlled 16-way sections in both directions from Naman-dong IC to Seoan-dong IC at about 5:10 pm.

No lives have been reported as a result of this forest fire.

To date, more than 100ha of forest has been burned, about 120 football fields.

Forestry and firefighting authorities infused 20 helicopters and 40 fire trucks and over 1,000 fire-fighting personnel for two days . However, it was difficult to evolve due to strong winds exceeding 60 km / h.

Currently, the strong winds issued to the Andong area have been lifted, and the forestry and firefighting authorities are planning to continue the firefighting work overnight.
