Almost five years after the release of his latest album, 'Hoy' has been released this morning, the first single of which will be his new album, which sends a positive message about the importance of enjoying the present

Four years, four months and 14 days . That is the time that has passed since the last album by Antonio Orozco, Destino, was released . He himself keeps the account with enthusiasm because, after all this waiting, Hoy , the first single of what will be his future album , has premiered this morning . With this theme he wants to convey the importance of living in the present, which counts every day and that you must get rid of existential obstacles and step on life with force. He assures that he is experiencing one of his best moments on a personal and family level, so the time has come "to start a new project with energy".

This morning Hoy , the first single of what will be your new album , has been released . What did you want to convey with this new album? This song basically leads you to two questions: why do we spend half our lives thinking about the past and why do we spend the other half thinking about the future. Human beings are quite strange because we almost always forget the most important thing, which is to live in the moment. What do you intend to convey? The first thing we wanted to do was move, because when a song is able to move you in some way, the goal is achieved. That's what it's about, but now that people are going to hear it, I'm nervous and expectant. It has been four years, four months and 14 days since I presented a new job. The circumstances of life have been like this for me and now is the time. I am trying to live it to the fullest and above all I am grateful. You commented on Instagram that this will be the "most truthful, radical and profound" work in which you have never been immersed ... In the last four and a half years I have suffered terrible losses I have been very agitated in all aspects of my life and that is why I have probably known myself better than ever. I think I have reached all possible limits that a human being is capable of supporting. I have suffered in these years some very strong blows of life and I have reached the deepest that can be reached by reflecting on why we have lived, what we are living and what we are going to live. So the starting point in this project has to be this song. It is a reflection that I think we all have at some point: that today is what really matters. Despite the confinement, the moment and everything that is happening, today is the most important thing. This is what the song intends to communicate. The claim is to say: Do you realize that what is important is what is happening now? You have to focus on the moment and there are three big words: you have to forget, you have to forgive and you have to restart. It's over. You've been almost five years without releasing a new album. Why have you done so much begging? That's what I was telling you. They have been very difficult years for me, the circumstances of life have been complicated by the losses I have suffered. But now is the time. Before it could not be for many reasons. Mainly, because I wasn't me. It was very complicated. Now it has been a while, the wounds are healing and personally and family I am better than ever, so it is time to start a new project with energy. On the cover of the single there is an airplane taking off ... What meaning does it have for you? There is a phrase that I think sums it up and says that "the real trips start right when the road ends." I think it perfectly explains the current moment that most human beings live. Now our great journey begins. It is a simile. That plane on the runway, taking off, is like everything starts again. You had planned for the new album to come out soon, is this situation going to change your plans? We are fulfilling our plans as they were planned for more than a year. Let's move on. The release date is not yet, it is still early, but it will not be delayed. We are adapting to day to day. The moment we are living in is not that of a month and a week ago, things have improved a lot and I am very optimistic. I think that very soon everything will return to a certain normality and I think we have to think like this because it is necessary You have participated in LaLiga Santander Fest, a solidarity festival to raise funds for the coronavirus. In a situation like this, would you vindicate something to the political class? I am going to give you a simile: the population of this country is experiencing an almost springtime rebirth, beautiful, twinning, hugging and loving, because today, although we are separated, we are closer than ever. The applause at eight o'clock in the afternoon, beyond the applause for the toilets, which makes perfect sense, I think it is a way of saying that we can do everything together. And in that uniform color, the only discordant note, the only thing that is faded, is politics. At this time all politicians should reflect, think, understand that the only way to make force is by doing it together. It gives me the feeling, unfortunately, that every time there is a political confrontation there is less smile in this country. Every time the politicians face each other, the grief among us increases, hope is lost, the forces are diminished and we are weaker ... Every time the irresponsibility of the politicians appears, the population is exhausted and their chances of survival diminish. It is the only discordant note. I'm doing a live program on Instagram every night, it's been almost 900 minutes live, and the feeling is that people are much more united than before and are in need of references. The only discordant note of all this landscape is what is happening in the Cortes.Your song My HeroIt has become one of the soundtracks in recognition of the health sector ... How does it feel when one of your songs becomes the anthem of a situation like this? In this song there was a phrase that spoke of heroes being heroes because nobody knows that they are. Now perhaps reality surpasses fiction ... We are surrounded by heroes and we did not know it. This song had a dedication, a who and a why. I think today is being a balm for many people and the song could not have a better end. The song has long since ceased to be mine, it speaks exclusively of the heroes, of each of them, and I am very proud to be part of somehow of this great social movement. In an interview you have commented that you do not follow anyone on Instagram so as not to be envious of their vacation ... The instagram thing is practically a personal matter. I have very little sense of guayerismo. I am not very curious and the truth is that sometimes there is an excess of information. You are making your second trip on the AVE in the same day and suddenly you open Instagram and see your colleague, at four in the afternoon, having a gin and tonic in the pool ... well, I am not very excited (laughs) . It's too much information for me ... I want to remember that I'm a man, I don't know how to do many things at once (laughs). Anyway, today I thank Instagram because we have created Good News, a daily live program that, as Pablo López would say, is a pinch between space and time that allows us to go to sleep a little calmer, knowing that Although it may not seem like it, there are many good things that are happening. That life can have a funny and comic tone. And this space is allowing me to feel better, to feel that I am doing my job, to take out the puppeteer that I have inside. I think my responsibility in these times is to entertain, not everyone, whoever wants and needs it. This space has allowed me to be entertained, I have entertained myself to entertain others (laughs). After more than 20 years of career, what would you say today to Antonio Orozco that began with A watch and a candle ? Never change ( laughs). I would say: Forget, forgive and restart. In all these years you have experienced some unusual situations. For example, you sang with 380 embryos as a public ... What is the most surreal anecdote you have ever lived? You said it ... Dr. López-Teijón, who works at the Institut Marquès de Barcelona, has scientifically demonstrated that the Music helps the development of IVF. Then, one day I was in a fertilization clinic, in an experimental project, singing live with speakers of certain dimensions inside the refrigerators where IVF was being carried out, and the signal of each embryo was sent online I don't know how many countries, a total of 380 families that had their embryos. When we started singing live the movement of the embryos was absolutely different, more vital and energetic. It does not mean that it is because I sing much less, but because the music itself is a stimulant in life ... And this is something that these days it is good for us to remember, that anyone who feels dazed or overwhelmed has At your disposal a beautiful balm called music, which is available to everyone and helps you reflect, get to know yourself better and relax your mind. Music is one of the great principles of life, at least for me, and this doctor at Harvard demonstrated it a short time ago and that's why she was awarded. - As time goes by, you're still faithful to the spirit. Is there a genre you've been digging into lately that you'd like to experiment with? Music is more alive than ever and closer to everyone than ever. Access to any musical niche is as simple as opening a playlist . My career started sharing study, 26 or 27 years ago, with Solo los Solo, and hip hop has always been a tool for me, but it is true that in my house now, with a teenager, it is the beat of the house. I think it is time to have very little shame, a very hard face and believe in yourself. With this album many people will be surprised. After several seasons as a coach in La Voz, what has TV taught you that concerts haven't done? I really have to thank television because my relationship with the public and music changed a lot. La Voz is being a space where I have learned so much and grown so much from all points of view that I only have words of thanks. For all those who form the human team and for all the talented people I have had to see in the first person and who have helped me grow and become a better person.
