In the future, the taxi calling app will allow passengers to send a request to the driver in advance to say 'I want to go quiet'.

Yesterday (23rd), SK Telecom announced that it added 'passenger request transmission function' to its Taxis taxi service.

This function is a function that requests a driver to speak directly to the driver when riding a taxi through the app and delivers it to the driver before departure. While waiting for a taxi, passengers can choose between two options: 'I want to go quietly' and 'Without speeding, without a quick stop' in the pop-up menu of 'Please pick up the point you want while riding the driver'.

Duplicate selection of two options is also possible. If you select 'Always apply this option', this function will be automatically applied to the next taxi call.
SK Telecom conducted a questionnaire on taxi use for 500 citizens in June last year and introduced new functions based on the results. 38% of survey respondents cited 'unnecessary conversation with a driver' as the most uncomfortable experience while using a taxi. However, there were many opinions that it was difficult to tell the driver to go quietly when taking a taxi. SK Telecom said, "We have added this service to express our opinions without inconvenient conversations with each other."

In fact, the background of the non-taxi service craze, such as the ride-sharing service 'Tada' last year, had a reason to be differentiated from existing taxis by providing a 'quiet, clean transportation service'.

"The majority of taxi drivers are friendly, but some drivers only think of passengers as 'passengers,'" and "I think users have the right to move comfortably.", "We welcome those features." Is showing the reaction of the back.
