Since the introduction of containment, the use of videoconferencing services has exploded. Zoom, Messenger, Skype, are all solutions to keep in touch with loved ones. In this context, WhatsApp is preparing to increase the limits of audio and video group calls to integrate a larger number of participants, reports Clubic . This is in any case what suggests the examination of a beta version of the application by the specialized site Wabetainfo.

You'll be able to get in touch with your family and friends better, thanks to the new group call limit, available within the next weeks.
This is the best decision taken by @WhatsApp: we can stay safe at home, but we can meet virtually more people we love though WhatsApp 💚. #RT https://t.co/M0DsObrTmS

All participants with the same version

While the group call limit is set at four, WhatsApp would allow in a future version to accommodate a larger number of participants. But the analysis of the code does not make it possible to know what will be the new limit fixed. What is certain is that all participants must have the latest update of the application, which will be deployed on iOS and Android devices.

No date of availability of this new version is announced by WhatsApp. Facebook, the owner of the application, must first ensure that no bug will spoil the good news.
