For those who created child sexual exploitation videos, such as Dr. Jo Joo-bin, a doctoral room operator, the current law is to be sentenced to more than five years in prison and to the maximum imprisonment.

From today (9th), the prosecution drastically strengthened the standards for handling sexual exploitation incidents.

All those who participated in the production of sexual exploitation were systematically arrested, and in principle, the main offender was to be sentenced to more than 15 years of imprisonment, and even to the highest possible sentence of imprisonment, depending on the crime.

[Kim Gwan-jung / Criminal Director of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office: The prosecution is sincerely appealing to the victims and the public about the fact that the n-room case was not sufficiently dealt with in advance.]

If you have sexual exploitation videos or just pay for money and participate in a chat room, you are severely punished.

Prosecutors have been requesting a summary trial of only fines for those who paid and participated as in Room n, but they expect a sentence of more than six months in prison in the future.

As the changed standards are applied to all cases in which investigations and trials are in progress, it is expected that the number of former watchmen of n-room operators, who have been sentenced to three years and six months in prison from the first trial, will be greatly increased.

The prosecution continues to examine whether criminal organized crimes are applicable to Joo-bin Cho and their accomplices.
