For reasons of discipline, a guilty child nurse was placed on a parish hall (toy cabinet) about 78 cm high.

The Supreme Court's Division 2 (Judge Chief Justice Sang-Hwan Kim) said that A's appeals against the Child Welfare Act (child abuse) have been finalized and sentenced to a fine of 700,000 won.

In March 2015, Mr. A was accused of sitting for 40 minutes on a 78-cm-high diocese in a daycare center in Buk-gu, Ulsan, because the victims were doing dangerous actions, such as climbing up the diocese.

During the trial, Mr. A argued, "It is only an educational activity to correct a child's dangerous behavior, not an emotional abuse."

However, the first trial said, "It is an emotional abuse because it is difficult to see a dangerous act of putting a child on the school district as a suitable means for correcting the child's behavior, and the influence of temporary anger on the child who caused the problem behavior." I sentenced 1.5 million won.

Although the second trial admitted that "the victims and the parents suffered considerable mental suffering," the fine was reduced to 700,000 won, taking into account what happened during the discipline process.

The Supreme Court also dismissed Mr. A's appeal, saying, "There is no illegal misunderstanding of the law of child abuse."
