A 97-year-old grandmother, the oldest cure of Corona19 in Korea, shared a significant testimony in Qingdao.

Young-ju Hwang, who lives in Cheongdo-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, was discharged after receiving a negative decision on the 25th only 12 days after the corona19 was confirmed.

The grandmother, who was presumed to be infected with a confirmed patient at the Elderly Day Care Center near the home she was attending, had only mild fever immediately after the diagnosis and had no symptoms.

However, considering that there was some dementia and the age of looking at 100, she was admitted to Pohang Medical Center.

At first, the grandmother, who was worried about her family by skipping meals, seemingly unable to adapt to an unfamiliar environment such as a negative pressure room, rejuvenated little by little after receiving support from the elderly protection center staff and friends.

After returning home healthily, Grandmother Hwang in an interview with the media cited "the will to return to a happy life" as one of the secrets to overcoming the virus. Having a strong life motive is the driving force.

As of the 27th, the grandmother and family, the oldest cure of Corona19 in Korea, said, "I hope the people in difficult situations will bravely fight the virus and not let go of their lives."

Currently, the grandmother is self-isolation at home.
