Call centers typically sit close enough to reach many people in a narrow space. And when the call continues without a break, it's hard to keep wearing a mask when you try to talk over the phone for hours. This kind of work is one of the reasons that many confirmers came out.

This is the office on the 11th floor of Sindorim Call Center with a mass infection.

Employees' desks hang out with cubicles about the height of a human chest.

There are even places without partitions.

Ten people with five people in a row faced each other, but the distance from the seat next to them was small enough to fit a chair.

[Guro Call Center Former Employee: I work in a state where it is difficult to maintain social distance because I work at intervals of less than one meter.]

On average, nearly 100 calls a day with my client, so I'm out of breath and hard to keep wearing my mask

[Guro Call Center Former Employee: I work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on average, talking about three or four hours on average. That's hard in reality. 3 hours and 4 hours wearing a mask.]

The company claims that employees wear masks, but the health agency explanation is different.

While working in a small office, there is no choice but to increase the possibility of infection through splashes.

What's more, call center employees have a hard time working from home because of their privacy.

[Other call center staff: Counselors who deal with customer information cannot handle it at home. There is a risk of information leakage and working from home is practically difficult.]

While the whole country was socially away, call center employees were in a situation where they could not.
