The Galician talked about his daily routine: "I always get up very soon and do a long hour of sport every day." He said that he later went to his job as a property registrar.

He ended up explaining what he occupies the afternoons: "I usually stay in a small office that I have in the center of Madrid, where I do many things. I have published a book, sometimes I present it, I receive people, I give some talk ... I try to keep myself busy ".

He confessed that in this new stage he tries to be very positive and feels "reasonably happy." He doesn't ask for anything more from a life in which his engines are his family, sports and work.

Speaking of his past, he confessed that "being president of the Government is the hardest thing I've ever done ." He pointed out that "politics is 24 hours" and was under very strong tension for his responsibility.

Emma García threw him a compliment during his speech: "He is rejuvenated . How do you feel tranquility!"

The memories of your interview

The presenter revealed a curious anecdote that happened shortly before the recording began that day: "He sat next to me and I saw that he was wearing very short socks , he could see half his leg and lent him some." The Galician confirmed that it had been and highlighted with humor that the next day they had already returned to their owner: "I gave them back , just in case, perfectly clean."

In Viva, life also told that Mariano Rajoy did not leave Bertín's house at the end of the interview. He stayed to have a glass of white wine with him and his family. They were able to taste a pie that the guest had brought. "It was from Galicia. They didn't do it in Moncloa, " he said.

Bertín Osborne wanted to point out that he had a big surprise that day because of the sense of humor of the interviewee: "That Galician retreat that takes me out every five minutes killed me. It was great."
