Two young activists close to the association "Boucherie Abolition" were placed in police custody on Monday for consultation of websites disseminating child pornography images, according to information from Europe 1. They were placed under judicial supervision pending their trial in next September.

Two young antispecies activists are referred to the criminal court of Tours, suspected of having consulted websites disseminating child pornography images, according to information gathered by Europe 1. The young man of 26 years and his 25 year old partner, active activists close of the association "Boucherie Abolition", were placed in police custody Monday and questioned by the judicial police of Tours. Already suspected last fall, they had been heard for the first time by investigators and left free without legal proceedings at the time.

A trial in September

Since then, other clues have appeared, leading to the couple being summoned and placed in police custody. Several dozen child pornography images from regular website visits were allegedly found by the investigators in a telephone used by the couple. After their police custody, the two suspects were brought before the prosecutor on Tuesday. They will appear before the criminal court next September. Pending their trial, they have been placed under judicial supervision.
