It's a new way to finance an election campaign… A famous LGBT activist found an original way to help finance the campaign for Elizabeth Warren, by starting to tell secrets on Twitter and promising to reveal them end in exchange for donations.

Charlotte Clymer, also committed to the defense of civil rights, has thus raised more than 170,000 dollars (nearly 155,000 euros) in less than 72 hours to support the Democratic candidate, reported the Washington Post.

My god, look at what you all have done. 😂

"I threw it on a whim"

Charlotte Clymer, who has more than 280,000 subscribers on the social network, tweeted last weekend that a TV series had particularly disappointed her, promising to reveal the name if Internet users managed to raise 10,000 dollars of funds for Elizabeth Warren.

Faced with the success of her initiative, she started again the next day with another gossip ... "I threw this on a whim, and it exploded (...) Before I even realized it, it was gone viral, "said Charlotte Clymer, an avid supporter of the US senator.
