Little scare at Disney World in Orlando (Florida, USA). One of the small boats used on the well-known Jungle Cruise ride, in the Disney Magic Kingdom amusement park, sank on Thursday afternoon with several passengers on board, without any person being injured.

One of the boats, called 'Bomokandi Bertha', began to make water with the passengers inside, as the tourists themselves realized on social networks, who managed to jump to the mainland safely.

"The water in the boat was about a foot and a half (a little less than half a meter). It happened around noon," wrote the same Twitter user. "We went from floating to sinking in about a minute. Everyone was fine and we were rescued in about 20 minutes ."

The Reedy Creek Fire Department, which according to its website "protects the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort, responded to the situation," its spokesman, Eryka Washington, told Spectrum News.

The attraction was temporarily closed while passengers got off the boat and everyone could leave safely, a Disney spokesman said, without clarifying the causes of the sinking .

Located in the Magic Kingdom Adventureland area, Jungle Cruise is known for its sarcastic captains who liven up the ride with many puns. The trip is for all ages and lasts approximately 10 minutes , according to the official Disney World website, which describes it as a "trip you won't forget soon."

The Adventureland area of Magic Kingdom is divided into two areas: the Arab village and the Caribbean square, and also has the Jungle Cruise with other attractions such as The Magic Carpets of Aladdin and The Enchanted Room Tiki.

Jungle Cruise has given its name to a film directed by Spanish filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra, and starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, which will hit theaters this summer.
