Deaths from new coronavirus infections (Corona 19) have also been reported in Daegu.

Kyungpook National University Hospital today (23) "the woman in the 50s who was being treated in the negative pressure ward died about 2:40 pm".

The 56-year-old woman, the first death in Daegu and the 38th confirmed in Korea, has suffered from severe respiratory distress during treatment.

The woman was positive for Corona19 on the 18th after arriving at Kyungpook National University Hospital.

He has been hospitalized in a negative pressure intensive care unit for severe conditions such as hemodialysis due to chronic kidney failure.

If the woman is officially identified as having died from corona 19, she is counted as the fifth death in the country.

A 63-year-old man who had been hospitalized for more than 20 years in Qingdao Daenam Hospital, Gyeongbuk, died of pneumonia.

The man was confirmed to be infected with corona19 on a post-mortem examination.

So far, three out of four Corona19-related deaths are inpatients at South Korea Hospital.

The other one, a 41-year-old man who died in his Gyeongbuk home, was positive after death, just like his first death.

As of 9 am today, Daegu has confirmed 93 more than yesterday's 4 pm.

There are 302 confirmed patients in Daegu.

More than 300 people have been five days since the first visitor came out on the 18th.

158 of Daegu's confirmed patients are being hospitalized while the remaining 144 will be hospitalized sequentially.

Health officials say, in addition to women in their 50s who died today, 57-year-old males are classified as seriously ill in Kyungpook National University.
