If you have just fallen for the new Huawei Mate 30 Pro, you may be surprised to find that it does not work in the same way as the old terminals of the brand. Your new smartphone will not be able to recover your list of applications, photos and messages saved in the cloud. Everything will have to be transferred manually.

Step 1: Install Phone Clone on your old smartphone and launch the application

Step 2: Click on “Move data from another device” on your new smartphone, as soon as the “Import data” menu appears on first start-up

Step 3: Choose your original system (Android, iOS or Huawei)

Step 4: Give the system permissions to access your data, you will have to press yes 8 times.

Step 5: Click the "This is the original phone" button in the Phone Clone app on your old smartphone.

Step 6: Scan the QR code displayed on your new smartphone with your old smartphone, the connection between the two smartphones will be established immediately.

Step 7: Choose the documents to transfer. Be sure to check everything: from contacts to photos to videos. Part of the list will only appear by swiping down. Then press the "Transfer" button. And voila !

Please note, however, as we explained in a previous article, not all of your applications will be transferred. Google apps are not part of the trip. Some applications will also stop working, you will have to find alternatives or download them again.
