Meridian-M satellite has been successfully put into orbit

This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Launched on Thursday (February 20. - RT ) ... the Soyuz-2.1a middle-class launch vehicle successfully launched the Meridian-M spacecraft into its calculated orbit at the scheduled time,” RIA Novosti quoted the ministry as saying.

Earlier it became known that the Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Meridian-M military communications satellite launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
