Korean passengers, fearing the spread of a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) on the Japanese cruise ship 'Diamond Princess', returned home today (19th) and began a 14-day quarantine.

Fortunately, no passengers have been suspected of having a possible infection.

Seven South Koreans and one Japanese spouse on the cruise ship departed from Haneda Airport in Japan on Air Force 3 and flew about four hours to arrive at Gimpo Airport at 6:27 am.

Air Force 3, which is equipped with two propeller engines, is said to be capable of delivering up to 500 kilometers per hour in a 16-seater.

After arriving at the Gimpo Airport runway, Unit 3 was seated in front of the Seoul Gimpo Aviation Business Center (SGBAC), a chartered terminal that was completely blocked from regular passengers.

Ambulances awaited you on the runway in case you did not know.

Passengers with suspected corona infection were to be taken directly to the hospital.

Quarantine officials wearing N95 masks, goggles, and protective clothing also awaited Unit 3 on the runway, creating a stringent atmosphere.

They guided passengers to SGBAC to check for fever and respiratory symptoms.

Airport officials said no passengers were suspicious.

About an hour after landing, they left the 25-seater bus to the Central Quarantine Medical Support Center at the Incheon International Airport Quarantine Service.

The drivers were also fully dressed in protective clothing.

The Central Quarantine Medical Support Center, which was built in 2011 near Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, has 50 sound pressure containment rooms.

This facility is usually used for quarantine for a certain period of time when a patient who suspects a new infectious disease appears while performing dual role at Incheon International Airport.

Police have deployed more than 100 careers here to increase their security.

A police line was installed around the building, and the police strictly controlled entry and exit by inspecting every vehicle coming in and out.

A minibus carrying cruise ship passengers arrived at the center, escorted by three patrol cars about 40 minutes after leaving Gimpo Airport.

Those who got off the bus with only their belongings, such as backpacks, wearing masks entered the center shortly after their arrival.

It was exhausted by the long journey and repeated quarantine procedures.

They will be followed by a doctor for two weeks in a single room in a quarantine room for signs of suspected corona 19 infection.

The police will continue to strengthen their security around this time.
