London has decided: the United Kingdom announced Tuesday, January 28 that it would limit the access of telecom equipment manufacturers "at risk" to its 5G networks but was not going to exclude them, without clearly mentioning the Chinese group Huawei, in a press release issued after a meeting of the National Security Council.

Huawei immediately said "reassured by the confirmation from the British government that we can continue to work with our customers to continue the deployment of 5G", in a separate statement.
