Apple TV + already has 33.6 million subscribers in the United States - Geeko

Only a few months after its launch, Apple TV + has already crossed the 30 million subscriber mark, according to an analysis by Ampere Analysis, published on the Wall Street Journal .

Apple would now total 33.6 million subscribers to its streaming platform, and would thus advance Hulu (31.8 million) and Disney + (23.2 million). Amazon would still stay a little ahead of its rival, with 42.2 million subscribers to its Prime Video service, while Netflix would maintain its title of absolute leader with 61.3 million subscribers.

Slightly biased figures

The figures revealed by the Wall Street Journal obviously concern only the American market. Internationally, Netflix recently passed the 150 million subscriber mark.

The success of Apple TV + in the United States remains to be put into perspective, however. The application was indeed installed on all iOS devices in circulation and Apple was very generous in offering up to a year of free access to buyers of certain new products. When we dismiss the trial offers, the figures could therefore be drastically lower.
