Grand Theft Auto V largely dominates the top 20 best-selling video games of the decade, as revealed by the ranking published by Venture Beat. With nearly 110 million sales worldwide, the game from Rockstar Games has established itself as one of the biggest successes in the history of video games. Right behind him, Call of Duty Black Ops , Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 3 would all total more than 30 million copies sold worldwide. The Activision shooter series dominated the decade very well, totaling more than 200 million sales in 10 years. It alone represents no less than 10 entries in the top 20 best sellers.
Red Dead Redemption 2 , the other big game from Rockstar Games, takes the seventh position of the top.

The ranking of the best sales over the last decade offers much less diversity overall than that of the previous decade, which was dominated by motion-sensing and music games.
Between 2000 and 2010, it was indeed the game Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock that went the most. The Activision game was also the first to cross the billion dollar mark. He dominated during the decade a ranking in which rhythm games were popular. We found in second position Wii Fit , then Rock Band , Wii Play , Guitar Hero World Tour and finally Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 .
