For the content creator, this jump in credits is disrespectful for "the hard work of hundreds of artists, who dream of having their name inscribed in a very small insert".
Even when a series ends, there are no more episodes to chain, the platform leaves no respite to its subscribers to recover from their emotions in front of a black screen with white writing. Netflix prefers to follow directly with a trailer for its new event series. The contrast can be brutal.
How to turn off automatic chaining of episodes
To find the pleasure of breaks between each episode or to take advantage of the dramatic end of his series, nothing could be simpler. It is entirely possible to deactivate the automatic chaining of episodes. To do this, go to your Netflix account from a computer and select "My Profile".
By clicking on "Play settings", you should see the "Automatically start next episode" option. You just have to deactivate it.
The next time an episode in a series ends, you will no longer have a 5-second countdown and will be able to enjoy the credits.
