It will no longer be necessary to use the mobile app to respond to a friend or acquaintance on Instagram. Facebook has just started deploying its messaging service on its Instagram social network, in its Web version. This was previously not available through a browser.
At the moment, only a limited number of users have access to email from the Web version. The functionality should however be available in the coming hours for all users of the social network.
Gradual integration
Little by little, the web version of the software is catching up on the mobile application. Instagram is free from the smartphone. The social network is also trying to find a place on PC and Mac. In practice, however, the software remains much more suitable for use on a vertical screen by design.
The announcement of the integration of messaging on Instagram in its Web version will therefore not surprise anyone. Facebook has just revealed a redesign of its Web version for its own social network.
