A motorcycle that alerts its rider just before the collision

Radars, cameras, invisible sensors ... the new electric motorcycle Hypersport Pro from the Canadian start-up Damon wants to be responsible, but above all a safety monster.

At CES 2020, the Hypersport Pro electric motorcycle is all about safety. - DAMON

With a collision warning system developed with Blackberry QNX, the Hypersport Pro offers a permanent "reading" of the road at 360 ° and of the potential dangers that await its user (especially in blind spots).

Alerted by a vibration system in the handlebars, by dynamic lights and a permanent vision of the traffic at the rear of the motorcycle, the pilot can thus better anticipate his driving.

Sensors and cameras provide the Damon motorcycle with 360 ° vision and maximum safety. - CAPTURE

The first prototypes are expected in mid-2020 and it is possible to book a test at the Damon site.

An electric car sold only on subscription

Developed by the American start-up Canoo with Dassault Systèmes, this urban electric vehicle with the false airs of the Volkswagen Transporter is based on a platform inspired by a skateboard. In any case, this is what its manufacturer claims, which houses in the floor of its Canoo everything that allows it to operate (battery, engine, etc.).

Presented at CES in Las Vegas 2020, the Canoo car will be sold only on subscription. - CANOO

Concept: the marketing of this car will be done on the principle of a monthly subscription. This differs from a leasing : when you no longer need the vehicle, it is possible to return it.

According to Canoo, this car "adapted to the cities of the future" could also be used by companies to hold meetings there, the vehicle's capacity being able to extend up to 6 to 8 people. Hence a philosophy: Canoo does not integrate any screen because "each passenger already has at least one screen on him permanently". Range: up to 400 km. We will have to wait about two years before seeing Canoo on our streets, but first in California…

A gyroscopic wheelchair traveling up to 38 km / h

Capable of reaching a speed of 38 km / h, the S-Pod presented by Segway at CES 2020 is none other than a self-stabilized wheelchair (on two wheels) dedicated to micro journeys.

The S-Pod should be launched in 2021. - SEGWAY

Its manufacturer, well known for its gyroscopic machines, thinks with its future device to attract universities, airports, shopping malls and offer users far less tiring trips. According to Segway, the S-Pod was inspired by the gyrosphere of the film Jurassic World

We imagine that the elderly could be seduced by the S-Pod which is controlled using a joystick and should offer maximum maneuverability, especially for turning. Launch scheduled in a year.
