Former representatives are accused of conservative groups such as Haya Pan-Moon People's Struggle Headquarters, which led the violent act at a rally held in Gwanghwamun, Seoul last year.

More than 40 North Korean defectors, including members of the group, were arrested on charges of assaulting policemen and incapacitating police safety walls to march toward the Blue House.

The former president said earlier yesterday at the New Year's meeting that he would "print the Christian Liberal Party." Protestant civic groups said they would violate election laws.
