November 2019 was the second warmest recorded on Earth since 1880, after November 2015. This is what the American Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency confirms, confirming another year of heat records.

Last November, exceptional heats were recorded all over our planet. According to the American Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency, the average temperature of the globe has reached 14 degrees. Almost a degree higher than the average for a month from November to the 20th century.

The ice cover in the Arctic and Antarctic oceans has further decreased and the warming of the sea surface has continued inexorably.

Month after month, American experts also note, the year 2019 has accumulated all records . At this point, it is the second hottest year in 140 years. The effects of this warming have been felt on all continents, with heat waves, forest fires , extreme weather phenomena.

4 to 5 degrees more by the end of the century

For its part, the World Meteorological Organization warns of the current rate of greenhouse gas emissions responsible for this climate change. By the end of the century, temperatures could rise to 4 or 5 degrees, with irreversible consequences for humanity.
