  • COP25. "The Summit has become an opportunity for countries to avoid increasing their ambitions"

After the Climate Summit in Madrid, and after a brief stopover in Turin, Greta Thunberg has returned home. As the young Swedish woman does not use the plane, she has made the trip to Stockholm by train, and it has been precisely because of a photo inside a car that has generated a new controversy.

"Traveling on crowded trains through Germany. I am finally on my way home!", The teenager wrote on her social networks this Saturday next to a photo in which she is seen sitting on the floor surrounded by her suitcases.

The German railway company in which Greta was traveling responded to the message wishing her a good trip and promising that they would work to improve the service of "trains, connections and seats".

However, Deutsche Bahn resumed the issue hours later and responded to the activist in a very different tone:

After giving "thanks for supporting the railroad workers in the fight against climate change" and remembering that the train on which he traveled moves with "100% green electricity", the scolding came:

"It would have been even better if you had also reported how kind and competent the team that served you in your first class seat was."

This response generated thousands of reactions on Twitter against the young activist, turned into an environmentalist icon and recently named 'Person of the year' by Time magazine.

Greta Thunberg tried hours after explaining herself, also in the same social network:

"Our train from Basel was removed. We sat on the ground of two different trains. After Göttingen I got a seat. This has not been a problem of course and I never said it was. Full trains are a great sign because it means that the demand for train travel is high! "
