• Moto Razr: The return of mobile phones with a cover, but now with a flexible screen

Lenovo met the Spanish press last week at an event in Madrid to take stock of the year and explain its strategy for 2020. But beyond the good state of health in which the computer manufacturer is, all the flashes are diverted to the new Motorola Razr.

Motorola's foldable phone, a brand that Lenovo acquired five years ago, was introduced a few weeks ago in London resorting to nostalgia with a shell look similar to Motorola Razr more than a decade ago.

Unlike the Samsung folding, the Fold, s e is a terminal capable of folding to "fit in the pocket of the pants" and will be on sale in reserve from the end of January in Spain for 1,599 euros.

Although they insist on not comparing themselves with the competition, Motorola makes it clear that they did not want an armatoste phone, if not the possibility of using the flexibility of the screen to make it smaller and more manageable.

In this way, open the Razr has a 6.2-inch screen. When closed (with an exemplary hinge system that allows the two screens to come together without leaving a gap), a secondary screen will allow the user to check notifications, open the front camera or the flashlight.

A little later, in the second half of 2020, Lenovo will sell the new Thinkpad X1, the first foldable notebook that hits the market. The Chinese company still does not reveal definitive prices but makes it clear that it will be a high-end device with a high price.

Increase

Lenovo closes the year in Spain as number one in sales in computers in corporate segments, with a 41% market share and second place in consumption, with 27% of the market. For its part, in the small and medium-sized business, one in three computers sold is Lenovo.

In the world, Lenovo ends 2019 being a world leader and, number two in EMEA, in the sale of computers.
