When, at the end of the first decade of the 21st century, we got down to work with the first edition of this Guide, not even the most optimistic could imagine that we would continue here, thirteen years later and already entering the third decade of life . Today, as yesterday, the main, and almost unique, objective of those who do it (and those who have done it in previous years and, for some reasons or others, are no longer here) has been none other than being privileged witnesses and notaries Reliable of the things of eating in the capital, in the Community of Madrid and in the neighboring provinces , for the use and enjoyment of both the people of Madrid and all those who visit, and live, this mesetary villa that one day became a court . After all, it was only a matter of transferring the weekly experience of a magazine like Metropolis to a yearbook, which will turn 30 in May 2020, being the main chronicler of the gastronomy of the capital.
