Changwon City is struggling with the installation of CCTV in prostitution centers.

On the 10th, officials and police officers in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do tried to install six CCTVs on both poles at the entrance to the prostitution gathering site in Seoseong-dong, Masan Happo-gu.

In the opposition to the installation, three employees were taken to the hospital with dizziness, and an owner was faced with a fierce confrontation by spraying flammable substances onto his body.

Eventually, the city abandoned the CCTV installation and withdrew from the site in about two hours.

Until recently, these attempts have been made three times, but failed once in a row due to backlash from employers and employees.

The city said, "We expect that fewer people will be found in prostitution centers if we install CCTVs." On the other hand, local officials say, “We need a three-year grace period,” he said.

Currently, there are 25 businesses and 90 women in the area. City officials said, "They stepped down due to accidents, but the CCTV installation policy remains unchanged."
