Archaeologists have discovered in Egypt part of the statue of Pharaoh Ramses II

“The upper part of the rare statue of Ramses the Second of pink granite has been discovered,” said the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mustafa Waziri.

The fragment height is 105 cm, width - 55 cm, thickness - 45 cm.

The head of the pharaoh is decorated with a wig. The title also shows the title “Strong Bull”.

In September, the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities announced the discovery of tombs of the Ptolemaic era (4th-1st centuries BC) in the city of Ahmim, in which a husband and wife were buried.
