The Argentine actor co-stars and co-produces, together with his Chinese son Darín, 'La odisea de los giles', a thriller that alternates comedy, suspense and social denunciation

That's how blunt Ricardo Darín (Buenos Aires, 1957) expresses himself as soon as he starts talking about La odisea de los giles , a film in which he plays the main character and that has been selected by Argentina to compete for the Oscar for Best Film Non-English Speaking.
For Darín, this project is not one more in his filmography. First, because he shares cast with his Chinese son Darin. And, second and most important, because with him he signs his second film as a producer, a work to which his offspring has joined. «In Love less thought , my previous film, had already combined the work of interpreter with those of producer. Although, chronologically speaking, The Odyssey of the Giles has been my debut as responsible for the product. In this film, a heterogeneous group of people (the giles or naive people of the title) who lives in an Argentine town meets to form a cooperative. Some time later, those affected discover that their tickets were not lost, but that someone appropriated them. Once located the place where the thief hides the fortune, they decide to join and recover what belongs to them.
