The Rabobank faced an online failure on Wednesday afternoon. As a result, users could not or could not log in to the site directly. Internet banking via the Rabobank app also did not work. The outage lasted a little longer than an hour.
According to a Rabobank spokesperson, the outage occurred at 11.45 am and was corrected at 12.50 pm. The spokesperson said that the cause of the malfunction was a "technical problem", but not exactly what this meant.
During the outage, Rabobank users were able to "log in". This means that some users could log in, but did not see their overview. Others could not log in at all.
The spokesperson indicates that the outage has affected millions of private customers. In addition, a "small group of large business customers" suffered from the outage.
