Mini comes with a limited new top model: the John Cooper Works GP. The brand will build three thousand copies that will roll off the band in Oxford, England. The first deliveries will start in March next year.

The new GP version of the Mini John Cooper Works is powered by a 306 hp four-cylinder engine with two turbos. The power source is linked to an eight-speed automatic. This accelerates the car to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.2 seconds. The top speed of the special Mini is 265 kilometers per hour.

More than ever, the Mini John Cooper Works GP is meant for circuit use. The car only has room for two passengers and special attention has been paid to engine cooling, oil supply and lubrication. The model has been lowered and can also be recognized by a modified front and rear bumper.

It is the third time that Mini has released a GP version of the already fast John Cooper Works. The previous series were limited to two thousand copies.
