According to RIA Novosti with reference to the Ural Federal University (UrFU), Babushkin trained for a year, including with the support of university teachers.

The record was held in August this year in Moscow.

“In a special room on the boards, he wrote symbols of the number Pi, and in this way he managed to reproduce 13202 signs in 6 hours 20 minutes, along with workouts,” the university said.

In October, Babushkin received a diploma and official confirmation that he was listed in the Russian Book of Records.

The world record for remembering the digits of the Pi after the decimal point belongs to the Indian student Rajvir Min, who in 2015 reproduced 70 thousand digits of the number.

In March 2017, it was reported that at the Khamtramke, Michigan Academy, local students celebrated Pi Day by throwing cakes at their favorite teachers.
