At 3:37 pm today, a 3.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in the 15-kilometer area south of Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam.
The Meteorological Agency said that the depth of the earthquake is 11 km underground and it is analyzed as an earthquake caused by fault movement.
The magnitude 3.4 is the eighth strongest earthquake this year in the Korean Peninsula and its surrounding waters.
