As soon as the prosecution arrives, we will call our former attorney general, 54, to investigate the allegations that his wife, Kyung-Shim Chung, 57, a professor at Dongyang University, has alleged private equity.

The prosecution is said to reinforce the allegations against Professor Chung, who was arrested early Wednesday, to accuse Mr. Cho whether he recognized or intervened in the private equity case.

The Seoul Central District Attorney's Office of Anti-Corruption Investigation, Part 2 (General Prosecutor Koh Hyung-gon), is calling Professor Chung, who is incarcerated at the Seoul detention center on Wednesday, at 10:00 am.

The prosecution summoned Professor Chung on Tuesday, just one day after his arrest, to look into the possibility that former Secretary of State Cho was involved in allegations of nominee investment.

The prosecution suspects Professor Chung knows Ho Jae-sung information in advance and buys 600 million won worth of shares in KOSDAQ-listed WFM.

The prosecution estimates that Chung bought 120,000 shares of WFM for 5,000 won per share in January 2018, at which time WFM shares exceeded 7,000 won.

The prosecution reportedly captured the situation in which Mr. Cho transferred tens of millions of dollars from Mr. Cho's account the day he bought WFM shares.

At the time, former Secretary of State Cho was Min Jung-su, president of the Blue House.

If Mr. Cho was aware of Chung's trading of stocks, it is likely that he violated the civil service ethics law, which prohibits the acquisition of job-related stocks and mandated white paper trusts.

The prosecution says that if WFM expects the influence of Min Jung-soo, and sells stocks to Professor Chung cheaply, he may consider applying for bribery charges.

The prosecution is expected to call on Cho during the week as soon as he is directly or indirectly intertwined with Professor Chung's charges.

However, since the prosecution abolished the open summons of related parties, even if Cho attended the Seoul Central Prosecutors' Office building, there is a high possibility of a private investigation.
