To prevent the spread of swine fever caused by wild boars, the government has decided to build a large fence from Paju, Gyeonggi-do to Goseong, Gangwon-do. In Ganghwa, Incheon, and Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, firearms are limitedly available from today (28th).

The fence is installed from Paju, Gyeonggi-do to Goseong, Gangwon-do.

The government plans to install fences in three areas except Northeast of Gangwon, by dividing it into four areas, including Paju Yeoncheon, East Cheorwon, West Cheorwon, and Northeastern Gangwon.

First of all, the installation target area is about 200km, except for the features of rivers and roads.

Fence installations have taken into account the fact that African swine fever continues to develop in wild boars near the civilian line and may increase wild boar movements during the breeding season since November, officials say.

In today's five regions of Africa, Pocheon, Yangju, Dongducheon, Goyang, and Gangwon Hwacheon where the swine fever has occurred, firefighting is also allowed.

This is how you drive wild boar from south to north.

The government also says it will use a 440 precision search team from today to find and process wild boar mortals.

But some are questioning whether the government's urgent announcement that large fences will be able to stop the wild boar's south.
