Medvedev called for Russia to become a leader in research

“By 2024, we need to try to bring Russia to the top five in research and development. And in the top ten - by the presence in the top 500 global rankings (universities. - RT ). Now we are in 17th place, ”Medvedev said.

Earlier it was reported that 39 higher education institutions from Russia were included in the ranking of the best universities in the world according to the British magazine Higher Education (THE).

Highest in the ranking (189th place) from Russian universities was Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.
