The United States will need the support of other countries to complete the Artemis lunar mission, said NASA chief James Brydenstein.

“As we move forward, we will need as much international support as possible,” he said during the plenary session of the congress. He is quoted by Interfax.

According to Brydenstein, the list of countries that could take part in the project has yet to be discussed.

“There is no doubt that the astronauts of other countries will be on the moon with the American astronauts. We want to be shoulder to shoulder on the moon with our partners who are already with us on the ISS. And we would like to expand this cooperation, ”he said.

The Artemis moon exploration program involves delivering people to the moon in 2024.

Earlier, Brydenstein said that NASA hopes to expand collaboration with Russia in space.
