The Pope's prayer network (PWPN) has launched the Click To Pray eRosary , an electronic and 'intelligent' rosary with which they intend to make young people interested in traditional prayers. As they explain in a press release, both the device and the accompanying application are intended to make prayers "for world peace."

The rosary - whose translated name is something like 'eRosario Click to Pray' - is, in the words of its creators, "an interactive device, intelligent and directed by an application" that serves as a tool to learn to pray the rosary. In addition, it can be worn as if it were a bracelet and automatically activated when crossed.

Its objective is to reach "the peripheral borders of the digital world in which young people reside" and teaches not only to pray a rosary, but also to do it "for peace" and "contemplate the Gospel." "This project combines the best of the spiritual tradition of the Church and the latest advances in the technological world," they say.

The device itself is composed of ten agate and hematite beads and an intelligent cross in which all the technological components are found. It allows to pray normal rosaries, but also contemplative and even thematic (these, they explain, will be updated every year).

Thus, each time someone starts a rosary, he will be able to measure the progression of each of the mysteries. In his presentation, Father Frédéric Fornos stressed that in these times praying for peace in the world means reconciling, among others, with "the unknown", "with different cultures and spiritual and religious traditions" and "with the poorest." The rosary, which costs 99 euros , can be purchased at the Acer store or on its website.
