The American president Donald Trump has created an account on Twitch, the gaming streaming service of internet giant Amazon. The Republican uses the platform for his campaign for the 2020 presidential election.

Trump used Twitch on Thursday evening (local time) to live stream a meeting in the US state of Minneapolis for 1 hour and 45 minutes. In addition, Americans are called on the page to donate for Trumps campaign.

Twitch has been owned by retail giant Amazon since September 2014. Trump regularly lashes out at Amazon because the company would avoid taxes.

In addition, Trump regularly criticizes The Washington Post , which is owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The American president calls the newspaper "The Amazon Washington Post" to discredit the coverage.
