Twitter has suffered a fall that at times has affected all its products and application programming interfaces (APIs). This has resulted in a fall that has caused the application to run slower than normal or, directly, to stop working.
According to the company, at 02:50, Spanish peninsular time, there was "an irregularity of the system" that soon after they were investigating, although for the moment their causes are unknown. During the failure, the information could be slower or lost.
Although the firm assured at 07:14 that everything should have returned to normal, shortly after, at 08:35, a new investigation began for a problem that affected the APIs again and that made the social network not work correctly.
Thus, although the fall has not been total - it is possible to see and send tweets - it affects some of the tools and, for example, there are problems when uploading images or videos. In other parts of the world there are users who cannot access the service, as can be seen in Downdetector.
