A young man, about 18 years old, was taken into custody on Wednesday as part of the investigation into the murder of a young woman with a disability, a source close to the investigation said. His body was discovered early July in a cemetery in the Pyrénées-Orientales.
According to the Independent, the young man's DNA "would correspond with an element of the crime scene". About ten days after the murder, a male DNA profile was identified, with traces of sexual assault, according to the prosecutor's office in Perpignan.
