The director and an employee of a British camera surveillance company were sentenced on Monday to fourteen and five months' imprisonment for searching for and distributing images of the deceased Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala.
Sala was killed in January in an accident with a private aircraft, which probably also killed the pilot. The first section on Sala's body showed that he died due to head and chest injury.
The two employees of the CCTV admitted to having visited the images of Sala's body in August. The images later appeared on social media.
Research showed that the director of the company had looked up the images illegally and made photos of them, which she shared via Facebook Messenger.
