Psylla frodobagginsi was studied by researchers Francesco Martoni and Karen Armstrong.
The length of the males of this flea species is only 1.24 mm, and the females are 1.56 mm.
In November 2018, a new species of pilau beetle was named Augyles letovi in honor of the leader of the Civil Defense music group Yegor Letov.
According to the scientist Alexei Sazhnev, Augyles letovi can be translated as “pilov Letov”.
