“On September 15, the outstanding Russian scientist and economist Viktor Viktorovich Ivanter, the founder of the domestic scientific school of macro-financial forecasting, an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences,” TASS quoted the representative of the RAS press service.
Ivanter was born in 1935. He studied at the Moscow State Economic Institute.
Since 1961 he was engaged in economic science. For more than 30 years he worked at the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Ivanter is considered the founder of the Russian school of macro-financial forecasting.
